             Religion is the service and worship of G-d or the super natural. In addition, religion is a set of beliefs and the worship of a superior agency. Judaism is a monotheistic religion (obeys and worships only one great G-d.) Judaism is a small religion that mainly means you have to be born a Jew to be a Jew. Worshipers of Judaism believe in "The Nameless One" (Jewish people do not say god due to the name is so powerful.) G-d also has many other names like YHVH (Yod Heh Vav Heh), but is frequently shortened to just Yahweh. The leaders that had most impact on Judaism were Abraham, and Moses. Abraham was the founder of Judaism (god told Abraham he would start a great empire/religion). It was Moses that set the keystones for Judaism, G-d gave Moses The Ten Commandments and Moses wrote the Torah. Abraham made a "contract" with god that if he left his family and friends and started the religion for "Gods People" he would become a powerful leader.
             The people before the religion Judaism existed were henotheistic, meaning they believed in one god but did not deny the existence of other gods of their culture and others cultures. The Jews believe in one god, and they believed in the teachings of the Torah. Jews also believe if they follow The Ten Commandments God will protect them and give them peace. Judaism began in Canaan (now Palestine.) Judaism began around 1800 B.C.E., when God sent a message to Abraham that he will "start a great empire/religion. Today Judaism is in all parts of North America, Western Europe, the Middle East and parts of Asia.
             Jewish people must follow The Ten Commandments and the teachings of the Torah. The Ten Commandments is a set of ten rules for living. The Torah is a set of five books that the rabbis use to teach the Jews in Synagogues. Laws were passed through Synagogues and rabbis. Moses was a great Prophet that also spread Judaism.
