Why I Live In WA
I've come along way since I moved here 2 years ago. Many people sometimes wonder why my mom and I moved here, and always say how lucky we are to be here today. Well along time ago, my father and mother had a good life together, they owned a house, they both and jobs and were able to pay the bills. My father's side of the family approached him about a huge opportunity for our family. My great grandfather had died the year before, and he had left behind a few things. The main thing he left behind was his very old, but well taken care of house. My father wanted nothing more then to own that house. It was a long process, but the family sold him the house, and we moved in. Things were pretty much the same for a while, except we had a new house and money was a little tight for a while. Just when everything seemed good, a few changes happened. The company that my mother worked for, the Boston Sock Company, ended up selling the warehouse my mother worked in, so she was no longer employed. My father told her not to worry though, that he would pay all t
We ended up staying for a couple more days. This left my mother and I in a bad situation. This started to make my mother wonder, if my father was doing something. he bills, and that all my mother had to do was make sure I was ok while he worked. She would always steal from us, and go wake my mother up at night demanding she give her money or she would throw us out of the house. But he never did, and soon he was not always around the house, and was coming back REALLY late. My father went off to work one day, but came back really early and said that his car had broken down, and that he was going to have to get it fixed. Well it turned out that he was doing drugs, and cheating on her. She wouldn't believe it for the longest time, and she didn't realize that it could have cost us everything we had, including our lives. We had bills way past due, and my father's family was going to evict us from the house. We moved into a small trailer park, and lived there for about a year. It took about 2 years from the day that we moved in with my Grandpa, but we did get back on our feet. The only thing left she could do since we had no money and nowhere to go was go to my father and get help. He called a couple of people and got one of his friends to rent us a couple of her rooms in a huge house. We only had one more thing we could do, so we packed up our things and came to the gorge to live with my Grandpa Lee.
