You could also learn more about their beliefs and culture in a less extreme way by taking a course our taking the time to learning their language. ormal habits to be like them (eating with chop sticks) when you do this you show you care. Basically just treating people who share different beliefs as you the same as you would treat any other person is the best way to become personally acquainted. Allowing yourself to like someone based on personality before even knowing anything about their background is how this is possible. If you have a large interest in someone not being afraid to date them shows that you have over come the differences and are focusing on your similarities. Paying attention to them, including them and befriending them are the best ways to show this. Although their background shouldn't play apart on you decision of what you think about the person, unfortunately it does and that is how racism begins. A good way to learn about a culture is to visit their home country because this is where their tradition and way of life is made.
