Parents stress their kids into getting ridiculously high grades under the premise of getting into a "good college" however grade school and middle school grades have nothing to do with college. When Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold went on there horrible murder spree at columbine high many blamed it on Marilyn Manson or violent video games the real reason is stress from their peers. When a kid acts violently toward another kid it is assumed that the media or drugs had something to do with it but usually it stems from the overwhelming burden of peer pressure.
