The Rec - Room

Compared to other houses made in the 1950’s my house has a rec – room while most of them don’t. My home is located in Pasco WA. The house sits on _____________ Ave, along the bike path, river, and in the middle of Chiawana Park. The design of the house is a tri - level house with a basement. The house was built in 1982 by Hilbert Construction in Pasco, WA. All rooms in the house serve a purpose. Different family members like different rooms in the house. To me the best room in the house is the rec - room

The rec - room in my house is located downstairs on the ground floor level. There are three white walls, each with a number of 57’ Chevy pictures hanging on display. On the fourth wall of the rec – room is a fireplace with glass doors. The fireplace outer facing is shaped like an upside down U, which is made of brown brick. The fireplace hearth comes out about five feet, and is also in a U shape of dark brown brick. To the right of the fireplace is a door leading out onto the patio at the ba

. . .
The television and Denon surround system is located on opposite side of the fireplace. I could watch cable television on the Mitsubishi 45 inch Television, which included, a Denon surround sound system consisting of two speakers in the front and back, and a Sub Woofer. While I was doing math homework, or studying for a chemistry, physics, and or English exam, I would have serene classical music on for background noise. It contains all the toys I collected, from birth through my teens.

This rec - room is a quiet and peaceful place for me to relax and get away from the parents. Also, as a kid, I would play with my yellow metal truck and green metal tractors, like I would really imagine it in real life.

To the left of the back wall is a closet known as the “toys” closet. On the table is a yellowish white lamp, a gold base and white shade. The floor is covered with brownish white soft looses threaded carpet. In addition, the whole television system contained a DVD and VHS player and Nintendo 64 system. The most common drink I would have was Pepsi. Between the two chairs there is an oak coffee table that is square with rounded sides and contains one drawer. On the left side of the room there is one three seat cloth couch, which has green, yellow, blue, and red stripes.
