             Surrounded by a sea of darkness, the only visible light was shining through a crack beneath the door. He could feel the clothing behind him swaying due to chilled air flowing from the vent. Peering out gingerly he sat back and thought to himself She is never going to find me here, as long as we've been playing this game she's never found me here. The tension and feeling of sneakiness was overwhelming. He peered out once more and as he did he heard a rap on the door. He glanced down at his glowing watch, reveling to him it was 11:30 at night. Who would be visiting her so late? He wondered.
             Still peering through the crack he saw her limp to the door. He watched her thinking about how beautiful she was and how much he loved her. He loved her from her gray hair and wrinkles all the way to her short pants and Velcro shoes. She was all he had and for as long as he can remember (which wasn't very long cause he was still very young) she was all he ever had. She went to open the door but as soon as she twisted the door knob the door was pushed open by whom ever was behind it.
             As she fell to the ground his eyes began to fill with hot tears but what happened next scared him even more. The force that was on the other side of the door was now within the house. It was all black like the night and it had no face but the eyes, the eyes looked right through him almost as if they were they intruder not the person. He looked into the eyes and what he saw could not be human he thought no it was pure evil.
             The intruder attacked her as if it were a wild beast hunting down its prey. All he could see was the evil thing motioning his arm up and down with something shiny in his hand. Moments later it fled from the house as if scared by something. Maybe it was the sound of sirens from a police vehicle outside that scared it. He felt relived when he heard the sirens booming...
