A Bad Decision
As an inexperienced freshman in high school, I was always persuaded to do horrific things. Whenever someone asked for a favor of some sort, I would most likely fulfill their wishes. But there will always be this one unthinkable situation that I will never forget. It was a gloomy day of school. The piercing noise of the frightful weather made the day at school seem like an eternity. When recess came around, there wasn’t much exciting activities for us to do. Our adolescent minds began to wonder with ideas. Just when I thought we ran out of hope, one of my friends came up with a risky, but thrilling, idea. Since she had the knowledge of knowing that my older brother was on a field trip, she came up with a crazy plan to take my brother’s enormous truck. When she announced the plan to the anxious group of girls, they all turned to me to wait for my response. Overwhelmed by the me . . .
The houses all had shabby yards piled with mess. Then I spotted a car that made my heart fall to my feet. As we approached the office, we noticed grown-up people standing near it. When we arrived back at school, we started to notice cars that were familiar to us. Due to the fact that the unbearable bell would ring in forty-five minutes, we didn’t travel far from school. Knowing the fact that my punishment would last eternally, I began to wish with all my heart that I had not made the irresponsible decision that I made. When we arrived at the office, the principal made us wait in the office while he conversed with our parents. This part of town became creepy to us so we exited out of there as soon as we possibly could. With fear in our eyes, we walked back into school. The simple thought of driving without a license began to fill my mind with terror. It was the car that my mother owned. While we rode around the peaceful town with excitement and laughter, we started to come across a few areas that were new to us. re fact that I could not say no, I decided to chance it and take the beastly truck. Right then and there I knew something didn’t feel right.
