Now, I am going to talk about my interpretation about death in the story. Because of this foreshadowing, the reader may not be shocked when a strange turn in the story occurs, because, it may seem familiar to him. Miss Emily, refused all the postal delivered and she prefered to be alone and did not listen people. Miss Emily´s character is fully developed or round because she had the power to take decisions about her life, and she appeared during all the story, she is illuminated in the story no matter if she was dead. She was a hard woman who lived under her father´s shadow . Faulkner´s first use of foreshadowing begins with the death of Miss Emily, but this is not usually that the main character die in the first sentence. In those moments, she began to go down. The element or technique that faulkner uses in this story is the foreshadowing, and it is used to foretell the events that will transpire later in the story. The death appears in all the story since the beginning until the endbecause all the events are related to a physical, espiritual and mental death in all the aspects.
