A Clockwork orange

             I first heard of time movie through a friend, who was visiting from London. She told me about this movie that was banned in the United States, because of its content. This intrigued me, I wanted to find out why this movie she raved about for its deep psychological meanings, would be banned. We went to Blockbuster to rent it but they didn't carry the movie, claiming they do not rent banned movies. Then we went to a local rental shop and they carried it. As I watched the movie, I began to understand why.
             A Clockwork Orange, is a movie of a hooligan, Alex (the main character), who is only a teenager that runs around "stomping, whomping, stealing, singing, tap-dancing, and violating" society. These malicious acts against society are his idea of a good exciting night. In one night Alex and his "brothers" beat up an old beggar, who speaks of "a lack of order in society". Followed by beating up another gang, who is about to perform the "old in out, in out on a young weepy devotchka". Finally their last violent act is breaking into a home, beat up the husband (Frank) and severally rape the wife, that they kill her. The following day their is turmoil within Alex's gang and his need to control them, during another one of their eventful nights they knock Alex out and leave him there to be caught.
             Alex is imprisoned and given the opportunity to be sent to the Ludavico Medical Facility. At the Ludavico Medical Facility, a new treatment is being tested, this treatment promises to return order to society. Alex is treated. Alex's sick mind is brainwashed for two weeks, of endless drugs, which make him sick while watching horrific crime scenes.
