field of dreams
Imagine you have a dream. It can be absolutely anything in the world, from baseball to movies. One day you hear a voice speaking to you, giving you the slightest hint that this dream can come true. You would be ecstatic, much like the main character in the movie. His dream came true due to one thing, love, faith, and spirituality. His faith and love for God truly made his dreams come alive. God speaks to us in many ways; some very common or some extraordinary. In this movie he spoke through friendships. Even though it may have seemed at first that the African American gentleman didn't like the main character at all, they eventually began to grow as friends. This was all due to the fact of God speaking to them. He made their dreams realities, and by this the two men came together and formed a special bond.
If we live life this way, in time we will receive satisfaction, much like the man did in the movie. hero in this movie was the man's wife. This movie showed us a great example of that. The man did not even have to think twice. She had the grace and willingness to believe the man. What did he get out of this whole project, and long strenuous journeys? He got absolutely nothing, not one simple little thing. She stood by her man, through her faith and backed him up one hundred percent. He was truly aware mentally and spiritually. I mean come on, a voice telling someone to build a baseball field. They cherished each and every second of it, much like we should in our daily lives. However, through my faith, like hers, I would believe it. And if this occurs great things could happen much like it did in the story. I think that when God speaks to us and tells us to do something, we should not even question it. Overall this movie could teach you a lot of things. If you really think about it, this character was one of the most unselfish people ever.
