With every alteration in the script that Jennifer and David caused,something else would change more things started to get colour into them,it rained,a fire started,wifes weren't home on time to cook dinner etc. But when David and Jennifer get mysteriously transported into Pleasantville from the 1900s and do not keep everything to script (as it is a television show) strange changes start to happen. At first the towns people were freaked out by this new concept and looked at this change on a negetive.
