good vs.evil

             To everything and every idea an opposite exists. Therefore, with every good there exists an evil. Without evil we would not be able to appreciate the good in human nature. If we were without good then evil would blanket life's meaning. Lastly, without a balance of both good and evil morality would be of no essence. So in the end, we find that both good and evil are essential.
             We appreciate things by the ways that they impact our senses. We cannot fully be appreciative of human nature if we are not aware of its opposites. The good that human nature bring forth to us, must be taken in with an accepting manner. But how are we to appreciate the goodness of it all, if we are not conscious of its contrary? Evil needs to exist in human nature in order for us to make sense of goodness. If we know the negative, then we can understand were the righteousness springs from. Together, evil and good, paint a clear view so that we may appreciate the human nature that we so often abandon.
             As humans, we feed our life with more meaning when we act out of kindness. A meaningful life is one lived in a world of goodness. But if evil were to cover it all, then what would our life be worth? We need good to present evil with a challenge. The challenge of an eternal life. In a meaningful life, goodness will always triumph if we shield evil with our kindness. Goodness is eternal. The more that we show it, the more it prevails.
             It takes good to know evil, just like it takes evil to know good. When one has a logical idea of evil, good always seems to be pushing them forward. They can be blind to it at the time, but where there is evil there is good. If one is aware of goodness, then evil is haunting them. For we know that we can make no sense out of the characteristics of goodness, unless we examine those of evil. One cannot be moral if all they know is evil.
