Holocaust

             In history there are events that happen that are good and also dreadful. We hope the more we learn about the past the better chance the brutal actions wont repeat itself. There was a time that Jews were segregated on who they were in religion not what kind of people they could be. People went on what others were saying on propaganda and the playing of politics. The brain wash of one person changed the lives of people all over the world. So many were under intimidation from a higher power that they rather live then doing what is right. Sometime we need to come together, be strong and help fight for the ones that need the support and hope they would do the same for us when we are in the same predicament as them. The Holocaust is times where people will never forget, the time love ones were taken away and a time we hope never to repeat again.
             The "Holocaust" refers to the dramatic period from January 30, 1933, when Hitler became Chancellor of Germany. It was not the end till May 8, 1945 the ending of the war in Europe. We are not for sure on how many people were killed in this event there's an indication of six million Jews, five million deaths among the groups Gypsies, Serbs, Polish intelligentsia, resistance fighters from all the nations, German opponents of Nazism, homosexuals, Jehovah's Witnesses, habitual criminals, and the "anti-social." (Cavendish, 5) Every Jewish community was engaged by Europe suffered victims during the Holocaust. The Nazis were able to have a definition on what they thought a Jew could be consider which anyone with three Jewish grandparents was; someone with two Jewish grandparents who belonged to the Jewish community on 1935, or joined thereafter; was married to a Jew or Jewess, or married one was the offspring of a marriage.
