He/she must also analyze changes in the operating and macro environments and modify the companies' objectives to better suit the changing environment. He/she must not only be an effective manager but also be an inspiration for other employees in the company. He/she must be able to motivate employees and fit comfortably within the internal environment. He/she must continually strive towards excellence and improve in all areas of the organization while taking ultimate responsibility for failuresFor employees to have the respect for a leader, he/she must be honest, have integrity and a positive outlook. He/She must understand the people within the company and be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all employees in order to minimize expenditure of time and resources. An effective leader is a necessity to any business to ensure the company's visions and goals are reasonable and furthermore acted upon.
