acts hours

For my ACTS hours, I helped at a haunted house. I'll be honest throughout this entire paper. I was, as most of the students were, kind of upset we were forces into doing these hours. I found myself very pessimistic to the whole thing, and was not very happy about it. My mom had to force me into the little service projects, and I was jealous of the kids whose parents just forged signatures saying they did their hours. However, I actually did all my hours. I can't say I really felt good about doing it, because I know if I wasn't absolutely forced into doing them, there was probably no way in the world I would actually be doing it. I mean, if I'm going to work, I want to get paid. My friends and 1 did this project to gather. This helped out a lot because I wasn't completely bored the entire time. That helped me get through a lot of my hours. The work was not hard at all. I just had to jump out at kids and scare them. I was instructed not to really scare the kids to bad. The vast majority of the kind were seven and under. But they told me just to let loose with the older children and their parents. It was funny to see how scared these people got. I just jumped out and people were screaming left and right. I was told that the haunted house that we put on was one of the best that they ever had. This made the whole experience better because I knew that the work that I did was not only economized but it was much appreciated. This was a great feeling and now, at after I completed the hours I am glad that I did them , no matter how much I hated them at the time.
