Time is any person's most valuable resource. It can be neither replaced nor regained.
Because of this, the most precious gift that can be given is the gift of time.
Each person spends their day busily typing papers, studying diligently or watching television, as the hours, minutes
and seconds go by. By the end of the day, they realize that the important activities were not completed. The hours were
wasted away because of poor time management. Time management is setting and following a schedule in order to organize and
prioritize the competing activities in a person's life. Through time management, a person who leads a busy life is able to
fit the most important aspects his or her life into the scheduled daily tasks.
Effective time management necessitates a sense of balance. Either excessive thought about time management skills with out
and effect can be problematic. On one hand, perfect time management skills do not make one a perfect student or employee.
It is possible to excess about time, such that one is so captivated by the finer points that meaningful tasks are not
accomplished. On the other hand, poor time management skills do not make one a stooge. Some brilliant people habitually
are "a day late and a dollar short."
Time management is used to help a person reach the high achievements he or she is able to reach. High achievement implies
the optimal use of your personal energy and time, purposefulness and effectiveness of what you do, as well as your
flexibility and readiness for new opportunities. It also helps a person balance, how you distribute your time between the
key areas of your life, including family, work, money, health, social, and spiritual areas.
