As you might know, people in Salem are getting put on trial for being considered a
witch or practicing witchcraft.These acusations are being made by the community.
There is only one problem though.They don't have true evidence showing this.They
are just getting blamed because they either act different, not the elect, or if
someone was holding grudge with the person.You should definitly stop the trials
before any more innocent lives are being taken.
One evident reason to stop is because people getting accused only by greed or
hatred.Thomas Putnam is definitly one of those people accusing.If you look on the death
list given, you see that Putnam signed off almost everybody on the list. You may ask
what is he to gain from innocent people dieing.To tell you the truth govenor, it's land.
You see, Thomas is a very jealous man when it comes to something he doesn't have.

Another reason is your killing people that say they are not a witch or practiced
witchcraft.For instance, take Giles.He's a very old but kind gentleman.He can be
considered a grandpa. Well,he was accused. The thing is he did not confess or tell
them no about him doing witchcraft.Their punishment for him was putting rocks
on his body until he confessed or died. He stood by his word and was killed. Now
how would you feel if they killed your grandpa for practicing witchcraft and you
knew that was not true. He would die for no reason: just like the people in Salem.
My last reason is that the Salem trials is an issue of debt and debtors. The first
accuser of witchcraft owed the suspected "witch" money. This mass hystaria is an
issue of monatary obligation not sourcery. If you take care of the debt problems, the
problem with witchcraft will cease. You can't deal with the symptoms of a disease
