SQL BUSINESS REPORT
Third-Part Augmenting Software and Enhancements 5Data modification and retrieval 9Application Environment 10The Team A Corporation is the creator of a next-generation software program called Do It All Software. Team A is planning to soon start a user Beta testing program for Do It All Software. The Team A beta test management team is expecting a heavy interest by users to test the program and is preparing a website to assist them. Team A anticipates that the website will be updated several times a day. Team A plans to create a SQL driven Content Management System for the current website that will allow the beta test team members to dynamically update pages on the website and create new pages as needed, without worrying about knowing HTML.The Content management System (CMS) will be primarily used to manage a beta-testing website for the new software programs. The Team A
The negative lessons learned were that change is painful. Lastly, I think we could have created a task completion schedule and empowered the project lead to manage and coordinate the schedule. The initial CMS prototype will be developed using Microsoft Access because of it ease of use. The management console is a standard Windows based, point and click environment. Occasionally there may be a need to run a query for information from different tables. This allows for the main application to be updated without adverse effects on the client's local machine. To refine and organize queries, the WHERE, HAVING, GROUP BY and ORDER BY commands will be utilized. From this console, employees will be able add and edit data and run key reports. The more I work with databases and web based technologies the more I see a need for simplification of technologies and communications. The user table will be used to store user records for both beta testers and Team A Corporation beta test management team members. Management ConsoleLessons LearnedIn general, the positive lesson learned was that it is possible to pool resources to create a business solution. The biggest lesson I learned about designing and developing a SQL business application is all of the detail that must be addressed. I think that a project lead would have been a smart move on our team's behalf as well. It was easy to get a big picture of how the database should look and function but there seemed to be a never-ending list of details.
