WHY DO MEN ABUSE WOMEN?
             There are a lot of women out there being abused, but the majority of the time the abuse goes unreported. So I figured if we find out why men abuse women we can get to the root of this problem. I was one of these women I was abused by my ex boyfriend but I realized it was only when he came home from drinking with his friends. I think it mad him feel like the man of the house, the ruler, or the dominant one. I have known a lot of women who have been abused and they all gave me different reasons. The house work wasn't done in time, supper was cold, dishes weren't washed, or they were arguing and she yelled back at him. But very few ever reported it to the police. So I wanted to research why men abuse women and why the women don't report the abuse to the police. So I used the survey research method to do my study and found out that most men say they abuse women because they make them mad by saying stupid things or doing stupid stuff but what right does that give men to hit on women. I also surveyed the woman and they told me that they don't understand why men abuse them. But from my survey I found out that most of the men were drunk or on some drugs when these women were being abused. Then I asked these women if they reported it to the police and more than half of them said no but why I asked and found out that they were scared that these men would come after them and hurt them or the children, some said they didn't want to break up the family, and a majority of them said they had no place to go and no money to move. So the research method I used was the survey method. I gave some women I know questioners to answer & I interviewed some friends to ask them about their life experience being abused.
