Walgreens
There are four Walgreens stores in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where I live. Where my mom lives, there is only one Walgreens store. Last month I took a trip to visit my mom, and I wanted to see what was different from her store to our store in Sioux Falls where I currently work.The first thing I spotted when I entered the store was the lighting. The higher ceiling light made the store look bigger. The first day of my trip was to see of different displays and to get a better feel for how the employees acted. The end stands change from store to store depending on the managers that work there. The end stands are an important part in advertising. When I walked from aisle to aisle, that is the first thing I saw. The spacing of the shelves where the merchandise sat looked great. The spacing of the merchandise was smooth from shelf to shelf. The appearance is a major role is customer satisfaction. One of the end stands that really stood out was a Valentine candy decorated of red hearts on the top followed by bag candy evenly layered with candy hearts on the bottom. The end stand was general b
That helps to get what the employees need without digging through everything. The lighting was bright and more spacious. Part-time help is just there for some extra spending money for the most of the part. That was one of the major problems that needed to be fixed. The appearance of the employees is a big thing from the customer looking from the outside of the company. The high school and college employees stand around and talk more, don't go to well with the customers, and are unfriendly. I told them if a customer bought that something in the morning hours and that the rest was in the back of the shelf; the customer couldn't see it and would think the project was out of stock. After I finished taking notes I shared the differences with my mom on the differences her store had from mine. I wanted to see how they acted on knowing where the products were in the store. The different kinds of noise and smells vary from place to place. The employees keep the store looking nice and playing a major role in keeping the doors open. I read on the board where the employees punch in that a mystery shopper came in and that one of the employees walked away every time the mystery shopper would walk up to him or her. They replied that they just pull on facing so it is showing that it is faced forward.
