Franklin D. Roosevelt
Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born on January 30, 1882, in Hyde Park, New York. Throughout his life, Franklin Roosevelt helped and saved many people's lives. He did this by initiating many acts, which were part of the New Deal, establishing the Warm Springs Foundation, and by keeping World War II warfare off of American soil. To many people, Franklin D. Roosevelt was a hero in many ways. As a child, Franklin was educated very well. He studied under educators and tutors from age three to fourteen years old. He could read and write the languages of German and French. He attended a public school once in his life, while nine years old, for only six weeks. He only did this because he was on a family vacation in Germany. Besides that time, he always studied at home. At the age of fourteen, Roosevelt attended Groton School, a preparatory school, in Groton, Massachusetts. While he was there, according to Frank Freidel, he received good grades, but was extremely shy (Freidel, 413). He graduated from there in 1900. In response, Roosevelt addressed Congress the next day, responding that December 7th was "date that will live in infamy" (Freidel, 419). The AAA was created for the organization of agriculture. In 1910, he was invited to run for New York Senator. Even though the arrangement called for Stalin to join the war against Japan, Stalin did not join the war until after the United States bombed and disabled Japan. This was a series of actions to help the economy and to restore confidence back into the banks and other institutions. All in all, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was a hero because of the many contributions to the United States and the people and their lives that he saved. This was the beginning of the Great Depression. Swimming in the mineral waters helped him. After discussing with Winston Churchill for two months, Roosevelt realized that the United States could not effectively strike Japan without the full revival of the Navy. After discovering that Germany was developing weapons, Roosevelt and Churchill decided to defeat Germany first. The AAA paid farmers not to grow crops, produce dairy products, or raise pigs and lambs. Roosevelt had a major impact on the United States. It also assures the right of employees to participate in collective bargaining. The banks that were in good condition would be assisted by the Department of Treasury and permitted to open. This coalition formed the foundation for the peacetime United Nations organization that was founded in 1945.
