Raising a Pet verses a Child

Raising a Pet versus Raising a Child This essay is to show that raising a pet is easier than raising a child based on their obedience, growth, memory, and expenses. From birth to an early age, most pets will immediately become loyal and obedient to their masters commands. A pet will pick up signals and commands very quickly. Very seldom does it require sending a pet to obedience school to get them to mind their masters. Most pets show little or no sign of rebellion and are easy to train. On the contrary, however if a pet is not shown discipline at an early age they can require a few years of discipline. It does not take very long for pets to grow up. They will finish growing to adult size at a very early age. Their life expectancy is normally no more than twenty years. Dog years are based on each symbolizing three years and horses symbolizing seven. It is amazing how much a pet can remember over a short period of time. An owner can let their dog take off for a run to exercise and som

They understand when their name is being called and will immediately run to the direction of that voice. Like a pet though, a child may grow up quickly to adult size and then stop completely in their late teens. At an early age a child will have little or no memory (constantly having to be reminded to do routine things). Once they start going to grammar school, memory is increased from learning numbers, letters, names, and daily routine school schedule five days a week. There is that occasional situation where the owner relocates and the pet has to learn a new home and surroundings. Raising a child is very expensive. A parent usually has to remind their children time and time again to clean up their room, take out the trash, wash their hands, brush their teeth, and stop sucking their thumb. Trying to raise a child to be obedient and disciplined takes several years. Therefore in conclusion to my essay, I have shown that raising a child is quite different and at the same time similar to raising a pet. Girls seem to be more expensive then boys to keep healthy and happy. ehow the dog will remember how to find their home. Children grow at different intervals. Sometimes a child will be rebellious for several years before the disciplining causes them to obey their parents. They require a constant change of diapers and clothing at an early age. Their growth may be fast for a while and then slow down (most of the time halting at about twenty years).
