a movie
When I go and see a movie the three things that motivate me the most are the story, the stars, and the reputation. "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" is a perfect example. The story seamed really good and funny to me, a chick flick. The stars were Matthew McConaughey, and Kate Hudson, who were both really well know and famous. McConaughey is a very hansom man and Hudson is really cute and bubbly. The reputation of this movie was great. I was so excited when it came out; I kept seeing the previews and trailers. Normally I go and see the movies most people classify as "chick flicks". I like that they consist of a bunch of comedy, some romance and even throw in some drama and trag
I came out of the movie being surprised. Even though it ended how you expected it to, it threw you off a little before that. The third and final way I select my movie is by its reputations. This is definitely shown in the movie "Jawbreaker". I also get pulled into the hype of a movie before it even comes out with all the previews they show over and over, they are so hard to miss. This movie definitely fit all my criteria, and I ended up loving it when I walked out of the theate. I guess if you really think about it you could say I am prejudice to the new and independent actors or actresses, but I like to stick to what I'm used to and what I know is good. I think for the most of the people that don't enjoy chick flicks, it's partly because they haven't taken the time to take the simplicity of the story and just enjoy it for what it is. I also think its amusing when they portray teenagers that are supposed to be in high school with actresses or actors that are 20 years old or sometimes even older. They interest me in how they can have such a funny movie that seems to be going nowhere but in the end you have this detailed story that evolved from the various jokes and play on words they like to include.
