Contrast between Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and The Once and Future King Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and The Once and Future King both show psychological and physical actions. Lancelot uses a past experience to prove that Agravaine wasn't going to do anything. The story is an internal conflict between imaginary situations that could possibly happen. demonstrates bravery first by accepting the green knight's challenge. However, the king tested Gawain's honesty to see if he would share the sash that would save his life. Gawain demonstrates honesty when Gawain and the king make a three-day agreement. The excerpt from The Once and Future King has many psychological factors. Gawain demonstrates courtesy when the queen gives him the sash. He knew he was obligated to be courteous because of his knightly duty. Even though he sinned by breaking the agreement he had with the king, he wasn't going to offend her. In this story there is hardly any physical action. Then Gawain proves his courage again when he doesn't flinch when the green knight swings to chop his head off even though he knows he cant pick up his head and put it back on. The main difference in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and The Once and Future King is that both stories show different factors and elements of action. However, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight revealed more physical elements and The Once and Future King revealed more psychological elements.
