The Rock
The autobiography, The Rock Says... is about the most electrifying man in sports and in entertainment. His name is Dwayne Johnson, A.K.A The Rock. This autobiography goes behind the life of this extraordinary man, his family, and behind the scenes of his amazing career in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The Rock describes his life in and out of the ring with his own style. He talks about his childhood days traveling around the world with his father, professional wrestler Rocky Johnson, to his years as a football player at the University of Miami, to his rise through the different ranks in the wrestling business. His autobiography talks about how he was the first ever third generation superstar in the world of wrestling. The Rock was born Dwayne Johnson on May 2, 1972 in the state of California. I can really say that I enjoyed this book very much because it was very moving and amusing. I think that all of his fans would love to see and hear everything in his point of view. In wrestling phrasing, he became the WWF's number one heel (the bad guy). It gave me an in-depth look into the World Wrestling Entertainment industry. The photographs were previously unpublished for people to see until now. He wrestled under the name Flex Kavana and used his time in the minor league of wrestling to improve his skills. All the stories in it were unbelievable and that's a plus in my book. It began as a joke in high school and carried over into his WWF career. This book was just a great experience to read about. Every word in it was written his style and the way he talks. All that success in the ring earned him "The Best Newcomer Of The Squared Circle" Slammy Award. Then there is The Rock's infamous finishing move "The People's Elbow" which is a little more than an elbow drop off the ropes, usually delivered after a "Rock Bottom" (a type of body slam.
