This diverse organization serves humanity and helps people by providing relief to victims of disaster, both locally and globally. The Red Cross gives health and safety training to the public and provides emergency social services to the U.S. Military members and their families. The American Red Cross has been saving lives by providing health and safety education classes. Red Cross training ranges from First Aid, CPR & AED to swimming and lifeguarding; from HIV/AIDS education to care giving programs like Babysitters.The American Red Cross is structured in a unique way. The chapter will develop and cultivate partnerships with local governments, community organizations, other ARC chapters, and NHQ to enhance our service delivery and build an even stronger chapter. Fiscal IntegrityThe chapter will ensure proper spending of every donor dollar received and strive to meet the national standard of investing $. The Red Cross services will be driven by their mission, focused on the clients and integrated across all Red Cross units. It can be used to describe the purpose of an organization and its aspirations. Whether it has been a hurricane, earthquake, local house fire or world war, the American Red Cross has supported people around the world, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture or religion. Ardent attention to client service, quality and stewardship is vital to ensure they gain America's respect, and compassion. For more than 100 years the organization has responded to those in need across the United States. They focus efforts on assuring patient needs for the safest blood supply possibles are fulfilled. The mission statement reads, "The Prince William Chapter of the American Red Cross provides our diverse community with the best service delivery, disaster preparedness and response, health and safety education, armed forces emergency services, and other emerging products and services so that our community is ready to respond to emergencies on a local, state, national, and international level.
