The 3 day diet

The diet that I researched is the 3 day diet. This is a quick fix diet with low fat, low calorie foods. This diet plan is to be used for 3 days at a time. If you follow it correctly (no cheating) you can lose up to 10 lbs. in 3 days. After 3 days of dieting, you resume eating normally for four to five days, but they recommend not overeating (duh!). When you gain the weight back or want to lose more, you can start the 3 day diet up again. To the diet you can add herbs, salt, pepper, lemon, vinegar, Worcestershire, soy sauce, mustard and ketchup to your foods. You are supposed to drink 4 glasses of water, diet soda, or any diet drink without sugar. They have a sample menu plan but you can switch the foods around as long as you eat the same amount of calories. Here is there sample menu. It is very restrictive when it comes to calor

The weight that is lost from this diet is really only fluid and weight is often gained rapidly once the three days is over. It does offer a variety of foods to eat; this is just a sample menu. This diet is definitely a temporary fix because it promotes no lifestyle change, exercise, or behavioral changes. I think that people who tried this diet would either not be able to stick to it or they would feel so deprived that they eat double once the diet is finished. So they eat regularly for four days and go on this diet for three. There have been people who have lost weight on this diet, but to keep it off, they have to repeat the diet weekly. You can look it up anywhere on the internet and follow the diet. One good thing about this diet program is it cost nothing. Day OneBreakfastBlack coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water1/2 Grapefruit or Juice1 slice toast with 1 Tbsp. any lean meat1 cup green beans1 cup carrots1 cup vanilla ice cream1 medium appleBlack coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water Day TwoBreakfastBlack coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water1 egg (any style)1 slice toast1 banana Lunch1 cup cottage cheese or tuna5 saltine crackersBlack coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water Dinner2 beef franks or hot dogs1/2 cup carrots1 banana1 cup broccoli or cabbage1/2 cup vanilla ice creamBlack coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water Day ThreeBreakfastBlack coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water5 regular saltine crackers1 oz. (slice) cheddar cheese1 apple Lunch1 hard boiled egg1 slice toastBlack coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water Dinner1 cup tuna1 cup carrots1 cup cauliflower1 cup melon1/2 cup regular vanilla ice creamBlack coffee or tea (Sweet & Low or Equal) or water I wouldn't recommend this diet to anyone with any kind of health problem because the calorie intake is too low to get the proper nutrients the body needs and there is no mention of exercise or a lifestyle change. There are not near enough calories for adequate nutrition. There isn't a lot to it, you just follow the menus.
