A Dialogue Between Gulliver

As Lemuel Gulliver and Ivan Ilych wander endlessly with many other lost souls in purgatory, they both run into each other and begin conversing as though they know each others story as well as there own. After Gulliver and Ilych's deaths, there souls were sent to purgatory with many other lost souls to await there eternal disposition in the afterlife.
Gulliver lived most of his life on an island with a kingdom of horses that were superior to humans. During his many years wit the horses, his views of true reality became distorted. Ivan on the other hand, lived a life that clearly portrays reality. Both characters become engaged in a conversation about realism and fiction.
Ivan: "Realism is the standard at which all of us live by. We wake up in the morning, perform our duties of the day, and return home for sleep so we can wake up the next morning and repeat the cycle. Of course the infinite details of our actions, thoughts, and words also add to realism. Of course every human is different but that is also part of reality. Reality is what our lives are."
Gulliver: "I do agree with you on your definition of realism. It is what we do every day. However, I feel that anything a person experiences is realism. After I was left on the island, I came upon a kingdom of horses known as the Houyhnhnms. I thought I was crazy and was hallucinating at first. But once I came to grips with there superior existence, that became my new reality. Of course everyone else would look at this as being fictitious, but they did not experience it for themselves. When I finally returned to civilization, humans as the superior beings of the land were not realistic to me. Of course time changed my thoughts once again to knowing humans as being superior. I feel that any experience for any person is reality even if everyone else thinks it's fictitious because they did not experience it for themselves."
