             Human Cloning Is It Ethical
             Or Is It Beneficial or Devastating
             Human cloning is a big issue in the world today. This has been a controversial issue over the possibilities that, human cloning would become the greatest breakthrough in the scientific world, or is it unethical to play God? For many years this issue remained as a hypothetical dilemma until, a Scottish embryologist, Ian Wilmut successfully cloned a sheep on February 27, 1997. After several unsuccessful attempts in the laboratory, an exact replica of the parent was then created and introduced to the world, as Dolly. This attracted international attention and raised questions whether or not cloning should take place or new laws should be brought forth to ban of any type of cloning. Did we think of the potential effects of what cloning can do to a human mind or body?
             What would life be for a woman who is able to give birth to a cloned human but, are strictly used for "spare parts" and is genetically altered as a human?
             According to the American Medical Association they have four points of why cloning should not take place. First of all, are there any physical harm's that comes from cloning? Secondly, are there any unknown psychosocial harms that may result from cloning. The third, the impact of something like this happening on societal relations. The fourth is, what are the potential effects on the human gene pool if this harms it in anyway? Lastly, is it ethical to put a woman through the pain and anguish of a normal pregnancy, let alone having a baby that is cloned? There is a potential for physical harms in human cloning.
             The people who are in support of cloning, feel that this power will solve many of the issues of the world. The supporters of cloning feel that if there's a way to genetically produce specific tissues and organs in the human body, that there will be no need in waiting for donors. For the person ...
