Reality TV
Reality TV is usually a kind of game show that is set in a real-life situation, for e.g. a house or remote island. The contestants are the average person type but usually good looing. The contestants are usually set a cash prize if they complete all tasks. Like on Survivor the goal there is to survive, or on My Restaurant Rules the goal there is to build the best restaurant. The taste testing was done by the guy too, we didn't even see the lady at all. I think that reality TV is just a waste of time. On the hot house you can see the ad's from a mile away. In My Restaurant Rules, women seen to be powerless. Her comment was not taken into consideration for one second. This is a hidden message in My Restaurant Rules, and this is why Reality TV is crap. In Melbourne the lady and her other partner were talking to their builders about them slacking off. I see reality TV as a 30 minute advertisement because all you ever see is tie-ins and people saying thanks to Sony and other brands. One person made a reality TV show and now you turn on the TV and all you see is reality TV everywhere. Here they are pushing around a Kelso wheelbarrow and using certain builders. Like in My Restaurant Rules, in Brisbane they always interview the guy for longer than the lady, the producers show him going around the kitchen telling everyone to do. So it's basically an ad with people competing.
