Death is the end of life
To me death is final. Whether life was fulfilling or not, the end of life is the final chapter and will not add to anyone's life experience. Therefore, I believe in the death penalty for criminals that commit heinous crimes of violence and take the lives of others. Living is a privilege we are all entitled to until God makes a choice to take it away.
I am exempted from making decisions on going to war, however policy makers, presidents, and the military forces are thrusts against each other with each believing in their own mission justifies the taking of life. Death is final, and to commit a deliberate, premeditative crime of shortening another person's life experience should be dealt with in the same realm. Domestically, I believe that there is no basis for a justifiable homicide, such as a vendetta amongst different gang members. However, even heinous crimes against members of other armies should be investigated and punished. e only justifiable homicide that is exempt from this ruling. Although I believe that the death sentence should be a definite part of the criminal justice system, it should be administered humanely, so as not to humiliate a fellow human, but to serve as a reminder that humane retribution in the form of a death sentence is the final payment. Perpetrators of violent crimes which take a life deserve the death penalty, not only as a means of getting rid of the source of mind that kills with violence without remorse, but also as an important deterrent.
