Gender Benders

The discussion about the differences between men and women has always been a tender subject. In addition to the obvious differences between the two sexes, such as anatomy and appearance, men and women are also on two different emotional and mental wavelengths. Men have always been considered the "hunter" or providers for their families, while the woman were the keepers of their homes. Although that may have been true back in the time of Native Americans and Pilgrims, today's woman is far different. As Bob Levey writes in "Men vs. Women Over Walking at Night", "Do women feel more vulnerable than men, especially in situations where they're alone at night?"(236). She has not heard of the end of it"(297). Women play a vital role in the military today as satellite technicians, engineers and in other forms of telecommunications. Should women be required to register for the draft as men currently do at the age of eighteen? I personally think they should have to. Most guys would suggest the woman to call 911 or to walk to the next gas station. The average clothing size for a woman in the U. These women have been a real inspiration to a lot of full figured women and have changed the way that some women are being seen in America.
