Tougher Drug Penalties

             There should be tougher penalties for offenders of drug laws. There are very evident reasons for need in change of laws. The first and for most is that drugs kill. If not kill then drugs present many physical and mental damages. It wrecks relationships with everyone the around the user. It practically eliminates the chance of a healthy future. Not to mention that's a very expensive habit to take up. These are just a few of the very obvious effects of drug usage. So the answer is clear we need tougher drug penalties.
             Drugs take huge tolls on every relationship that the user currently has and any potential relationship the user may have. Put yourself in this position. Your mothers brokedown crying, and you and your siblings are watching from around the corner frightened and confused. Your fathers on drugs. Many children live this everyday of their lives. It's a horrible situation to be in, but it's not like you've got a choice when you're that little. Now the fathers made the mother cry, and the children don't know why. So they get mad at their father for making their mother cry. The mothers crying cause father said he would never do drugs again, but he's back in them full swing. Just one scenario to where the relationship in this family have been strained. The toll that drugs take on ones relationships while on drugs is very real, contrary to what the user believes when on drugs.
             It may be true that some illegal drugs are being used to sooth illnesses, like marijuana, but the fact is that is that it is usually not, and drugs do kill.
