Addiction in our world today is the reason for most of our deaths. We as a country need to do whatever we can to knock down the rate of people dying due to addiction. The three most common addictions in the world are alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana. Addiction is the compulsive physical and psychological need for something that controls people lives.Addiction can invade just about any area in a person's life. We can conclude that "addiction" is the compulsive and psychological need for something that controls people lives. The addiction to alcohol is so high because it's a legal drug, and as long as it's legal more and more people are going to get addicted. There are many types of addictions for instance people can be addicted to videogames, the Internet, sex, or even gambling. Drug addiction does not only destroy those that are using the drug, but it also destroys the lives of people close to the addict. When most people become addicted to alcohol it becomes more than their personal relationships, and sometimes more important than work. " Addiction is known for being very dangerous. A gambling addict would put gambling over their families, friends, or maybe even work. Drug addiction can be so powerful that sometimes it takes control of a person's brain and only tells them the bad things to do. We have seen that there are many uses and different types of addiction. The addiction to alcohol addiction is growing in our society. Many people do not realize that addiction to alcohol leads to uncontrolled behavior. People can be addicted to food, drugs, the Internet, or just about anything. Drug addiction can hold a person back from accomplishing goals or dreams in life. Alcohol addiction leads to most of the crime rate in our country, because of drinking and driving. that might come to their mind is drugs or alcohol.
