Taming of the Shrew vs. others

The two movies are similar in many ways. For example, both portray the two sisters excellently. In both movies, the sisters are as different as night and day. The younger sister, Blanca in The Taming of the Shrew, and Bianca in 10 Things I Hate About You, is popular and always surrounded by men, she is the treasure of her father, and is very pretty. The older sister, Katherine or Kate in The Taming of the Shrew and Kat in 10 Things I Hate About You, is quite the opposite. However, because of the Shakespearian language, 10 Things I Hate About You is much easier to understand than The Taming of the Shrew. The differences of the two movies do not alter the plot very much, however, they are important to understand the tow movies. Along with both sisters being represented well in both films, both plots are very similar. When he does, the younger sister is able to get married, or date. The Taming of the Shrew is set during Shakespearian times while 10 Things I Hate About You is set in more modern times. They are a good comparison to how similar the Shakespearian times and the modern world are. The Taming of the Shrew is set in Italy when 10 Things I Hate About You is set in the West Coast. In the long run, however, the older sister becomes happy. I would highly recommend both movies and I think it would be very profitable to see the similarities of two very different worlds. The older sister, however, gets very mad at the man who is trying to get her to fall for him. Also, another difference would be the setting.

The Taming of the Shrew and 10 Things I Hate About You are both very good movies. There are two sisters, both very different and they don’t really understand each other. The similarities of these two movies shine through the differences. The older one is not liked very much and the younger one is very popular.
