SAME SEX MARRIAGE

             Nowadays, our Congress has implemented numerous laws in order to create equality and fair with everybody in this nation. Today, there is hardly any discrimination between genders, race, colors, religions and national origin. People generally says, "Everybody has freedom and is in charge of their own life." However, when the topic of gays or lesbian marriage arises, these same people tend to discriminate and don't accept homosexual marriage? As our society and the federal laws continue to discriminate against the homosexual population, a question of morality and ethics pops up. Gays and lesbians are active, productive citizens in America and more importantly, they are human beings; therefore, homosexuals should have the equal rights in housing, jobs, public accommodations, government benefits, equal protection under the law, etc. Subsequently, the most controversial question that our society has faced over the years concerning homosexual issues is weather or not gay marriage should be legalized. Our constantly progressing society should legalize gay marriages because homosexual couples have the exact same feelings, are able to raise children, and have a lot of political support as heterosexual couples.
             Traditionally, marriage is built on love, trust, complete understanding of one another, sharing of intermit thoughts, ideas, problems, and compassion. Therefore, when any couple, no matter what gender they are, has a special bond with each other, they have the absolute right to get married. More specificity, when a gay couple displays these types of emotions and feelings for each other in a relationship, it is no different then the feelings that a heterosexual couple has. Everyone has emotions and feelings, it is also an asexual trait; both males and females displays these characteristics.
