The American Dream
The American Dream is anyone with goals and the willingness to be the best that they can be and could make a living and be successful too. I feel being wealthy and owning material things that most people can only dream of is part of the "American Dream." The "American Dream" is about freedom; having the ability to express yourself in America. It's about happiness, love, wealth, and stability, It's about living a successful life here in America. When I think of the American Dream, I start to think of being wealthy. Having lots of money, writing checks; beyond being rich. To me, it has always been apart of the "American Dream". Owning expensive and fast cars, multiple houses and estates, and dining at the most beautiful 5 star restaurants in the city were all part of the American dream. People going on lavish vacations around the world many times per year also made up my definition of the American Dream. It was living life to its full potential. It is the freedom to choose whoever you want to marry in the land of freedom and opportunity. This is what I thought the American Dream was to me. We have the freedom to have a great education and become successful citizens in our society. The American Dream is an opportunity for each person to become self made, to use one's own initiative to achieve personal fulfillment through material success. Freedom will give us the chance to achieve the "American Dream". We try very hard to preserve the freedom that we have fought for in the past here in the United States. f the most richest persons in America, is considered the American Dream to me. Everyone's goal in life is to have the "perfect family", the "perfect car" the house with the little white fence in the front yard and a great job that pay lots of money! Everyone knows that it will always be apart of the American Dream. We have the freedom of choice, which is choosing 3what's best instead of being limited to one particular thing. Not many countries around the world have as much freedom as we Americans do, so we take it serious when we have the freedom that we have. Later, I soon realized that the American Dream isn't all about living luxurious and being wealthy. We have the freedom to attend college, marry anyone we want, the freedom of speech, and so on.
