The Empire or more commonly known as the West has had a dramatic influence on the world and particularly the Japanese and aboriginal cultures. The western imperialists colonised many countries around the world and played major rolls in technological advancements in other cultures. The West has made major advancements in military, agricultural and trade and considered them selves superior to most other races. The aboriginals did comprehend this superiority of the Europeans and this is demonstrated in their pictures drawn on rocks, trees and bark. On the other hand the Japanese decided that the West was a far superior race and adopted many of their traditions leaving their centuries of cultural heritage behind. Although the Japanese and the aboriginals were exceptionally different in physical appearance, the way they hunted and gathered food and their overall view on the world and how it was created was quite different.
