Coinciding with the ever changing and fast-paced society we have, we never get the chance to analyze our current situation regarding our use with computers. This paper will try to dig deeper in our society and decipher what the computer really means to us. Therefore, in a virtual society, the senders and receivers are rampantly diminished their distinction. Many of us Filipinos don't realize it but we are becoming pretty much technological especially those who are rich. Knowing how to work with a computer with a "fair knowledge" is just enough to be able to be called a computer literate. This paper is strictly limited in the Philippine context even if it sometimes considers examples and situations taken from other countries. We are concerned with the use of computers in the creative process as a tool or aid rather than as the subject of matter of the work itself. Poor people can't just cope with the society. People pirate cds, movies and almost anything that can fit a cdRom. Nobody knows who they really are in person. However, they can also perform various operations on nonnumeric materials, on data and information in the form of words. In spite of the already widespread adoption of computers in science, the impact of computers on science is really only beginning to be felt here in the Philippines. It sounds dangerous and it really is. The artist wants to explore ways of creating under his/her initiative. Thus, continuing to increase their knowledge and becoming more and more literate.
