Gattaca
The people that I am suppose to examine are very two different people and in my mind are the two most important people in the film. We start off and see that a lonely boy who is created by natural love in a world filled with gene manipulation and the other at the top of his class and the bread. Jerome and Vincent are very different at the star but as Vincent starts his transformation we see then have some common ground as they merge into one being "Jerome". The start of Vincent's and Jerome's relationship he thought that Vincent was a coward going through every thing but the final task, this show a push from Jerome the edge an start of a supporting friendship between the two. As Vincent and Jerome merge in to one being they share a symbolic relationship that proves two heads are better then one. Jerome:When you first met Jerome in the film we got the distinct impression the he was the elite of the gene-enhanced race. A good friend and reliable is what he is to Vincent, it was just the thing that Jerome supplied to him that got Vincent through this. His determination is admirable throughout the cause of his journey, meeting the man that in all honesty gives him his second birth. These two are perfectly suited for each other. He is strong charismatic, smart and healthy about from the broken back. Although he sometime is negative he can be the inspiration that Vincent needs to get through what he is going through. There are lots of words that describe this character a person said to me that he is a he is a con-man, in a lot of ways he is very correct, you could also say the he was a very ingenious man, examples of that are through out the movie, one such example is his ability to make situations turn in his favor like the blood test and not to forget the way he made it into Gattaca in the first place. one of the strongest characters through out the film he shows us time and time again the any thing is possible "a man with one finger can still play a piece of music made for a man with twelve fingers".
