One of the most important issues in the debates yet to come is America’s security. Another important issue in Kerry’s agenda is to make sure universities strive to push their students to graduate and take on the jobs they are pursuing. In 1997, Kerry wrote The New War, which analyzed emerging threats posed by international criminal groups such as terrorist organizations (Saletan 2). John Kerry is a great candidate for the presidency and will make America the great country it once was. Even though it is far too late to prevent the attacks that he had already believed would happen, he has a plan that would keep a tragedy such as 9/11 from happening again. Kerry will encourage colleges and universities to better target services to keep students from leaving school” (Kerry “Making” 2). In Kerry’s Georgetown speech last January he urged the president to take the time to develop a real coalition, go through the UN and make a viable plan for a winning the peace (“Vision” 2).

With the problems America is facing in its current situation, a new sense of leadership has to emerge. Kerry believes that the United Nations must play a central role in the war on terror. John Kerry is aware of the

situation and he has developed a plan called “College Opportunity Tax Credit” which will make

four years of college affordable for all Americans. If Kerry is elected, the process will become a much more smooth and easy one.
