Argentina

             Argentina is located in South America. The countries that surround it are Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and, Chile. And in its western region are the Andes mountains and on its east coast is the Atlantic Ocean.
             Argentina is a slow growing country due to a low birth rate. Immigration contributed to the growth of the population rate. Argentina had about one million people in it in 1850, but by 1914 a large amount of European settlers increased that number to eight million. The population of Argentina is distributed very sparingly one third of all people live near or in the countries capital of Buenos Aires. Many regions of Argentina may have few if any people leaving there due to unfavorable landscape and climate conditions.
             Its largest city is Buenos Aires which is also its capital city. This world class business center is in the Province of Buenos Aires. When more and more immigrants came is when this capital city really became a metropolis it is very similar to France by the way it is architecture. This city has become its main seaport and business center. About four million people live in Buenos Aires.
             Argentina's Constitution which was adopted in 1853 states that Argentina is a republic. They have a president and congress. The government places the Roman Catholic Church under its protection and requires both the president and vice president to be Catholics. Argentina's president is elected for four years and can only serve two terms. The presidents chooses his or her Cabinet. Argentina's Congress is made up of two houses The Chambers of Deputies and The Senate. Chambers of Deputies has 259 members who are chosen by the people, while the Senate has 72 members selected by provincial legi
