The hidden gunman who assassinated President John F. Kennedy destroyed an American dream. Many questions surfaced as Americans wept in the streets. He was completely dedicated to the job the people gave to him. And as so many questions came about, the American populace sought out the answers. As much as the public did not know about the President's affair, it came full circle one evening at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Who was Jack Ruby? Why did he kill Lee Harvey Oswald? Was something missing? Many Americans looked to the news media for these answers. They wanted to know how someone could grow up to commit such a terrible act. They shared a high-rish powerful attraction to each other. " Jackie was very aware of their affair and was actually told by Monroe that she had the desire to marry her husband. His courtship of her meant that he had topped his father by bedding "the most sensual star of his era. What kind of man was JFK? Was he faithful to his wife and dedicated to his family and children? Or was he unfaithful? If so, how did he get that way? During the mid-1950s many Americans were well aware of the relationship that their president had with Hollywood star Marilyn Monroe. On May 19th, 1962, Monroe sung happy 45th birthday to JFK and was described as "making love to the President in direct view of forty million Americans. She even had the private number to the White House. " They had many rendezvous during his presidency, often at the residence of Peter and Pat (his sister) Lawford. Monroe was an unstable pill addict who would always talk openly about the relationship she shared with the president. But how did they portray the life of President Kennedy after he was assassinated?
