Hamlet

In Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, the main character proves himself to be intelligent, possibly insane, and a revengeful man. In the play, Hamlet does many unemotional things that make him look insane and arrogant, such as his plans to overthrow the new King, as well as the verbal and physical fighting he inflicts upon his girlfriend, Ophelia. Up until the last scene, Hamlet shows himself as obsessed with proving King Claudius's guilt of murdering his father which allowed him to gain ownership of the thrown. In the final scene, Hamlet is finally able to achieve his goal of revenge, as well as unemotionally witnessing the death of his mother. The basis of the play is on Hamlet wanting to kill his uncle and his attempts to show the rest of the kingdom his guilt. He tries to do this by discussing it with his mother. He then putt


In order to make his claim sound reasonable, Hamlets appearance on stage will have to consist of hate and displeasure. " With this obstacle out of the way, he decides to put his plan into action, and kills his uncle on behalf of his late father. Being that it may not even exist or that the words it speaks may not be the truth, he feels the need to find proof before murdering a man. His major motivation of his revenge is his hate towards Claudius. After he does kill him, he slowly dies himself, due to the inflicted wound from Laertes. He will constantly be in people's faces, yelling, trying to explain his hate towards his uncle. s on a play in which the exact scenario is reenacted to Claudius and Gertrude's faces. Hand gestures consist of clenched fists, to demonstrate to the audience how mad he is at certain points in the play, especially when dealing with Claudius and his lies. He has his evidence to commit his crime. After receiving more evidence against Claudius when he watched him walk out of his play, he decided it was time to seek his revenge. Ever since him and Gertrude eloped only months after his fathers death, he started the hate. When Claudius storms out infuriated, Hamlet has realized he has proven the ghost right and follows him to convict him of the matter, or rather, murder him. His facial features will show his true hate towards his family, as well as the hate in his voice. However, his mother, the Queen, stands in the way of his revenge. After setting up the play and watching his Uncle storm out, he overcomes the idea that it might be a false conviction from "Hamlet Sr.
