Theorists such as Erickson, Sullivan, and Freud proposed that the lack of warm and nuturing attention in ones earliest years leads to the lack of self identity, misinterpretation of reality, and withdrawal in an individual diagnosed with schizphrenia. They contain both dopamine and serotonin receptor antagonists. And once a pateint is released it is vital they come into a very consistently calm environement with supportive family and friends. Undifferentiated type with schizophrenic symtoms do not meet the criteria for any of the subtypes, or may meet the the criteria for more than one subtype.
