Racing Journal
This is a fictional paper containing fictional characters, none of the names in this essay are real people according to me. The events in the paper in no way reflect my personal life. Its purpose is to depict the life of a professional race car driver.Journal Entry #1 December 28, 1995 Let me explain my life and tell a little about my self, so when I read this in a few years I will vividly remember everything. My name is Carlos Zennetti, and I am twenty-six years old. I am the lead driver of the Ferrari F-50 race team. I have a beautiful wife, Maria, and hopefully a child in the not to distant future. I also have a brother who is very close to me; he is also a member of the racing team. His name is Antonio and he is the Pit & Tech manager. Christmas has just ended, and a new year is just around the corner. I have enjoyed the break from the previous race season. Maria and I have had the chance to spend a lot quality time together over the last two months. We are going to top off the break with a trip to Malaga Spain for new years, before the next race season starts up again. During the break we talked a lot about having a child. I understand that is a long time, but not considering that after that I wont have to deal with this for a couple of years. As soon as we got home it was time for racing again, the break was over. It is hard for her to understand that I want more time with her just as much or more as she does with me. I don't think that it is anything to serious, but I can definitely feel some bad vibes between us. I managed to get us a set of courtside seats, so that will also be very fun and exciting. I love these cars and would not race anything else. I then spent the rest of the day doing research on our new cars and the parts available for them. We then went back to the hotel for one more night of relaxation. I want to teach him how to play basketball, because it is safer then racing, although I will teach him everything about racing as well. There has been a lot of excitement in the family. This is one of our arguments word for word; just to latter remember how lame they really were. Me: "Don't tell me how to drive, there is a reason why you are the pit manager and I am the one in the cockpit. Things went very well and everybody seemed to be very positive about how the upcoming season. I have only been once when I was a small child with my father, so I have forgot what it was like.
