12 Angry Men

1. I selected juror number eight to follow for this case analysis. Like everyone else, juror number eight has his own strengths and weaknesses. Some of the strengths that I found in juror number are his strong premises. Juror number eight did not take anything for granted. He analyzed every little detail down to the bone. For example, the number of seconds it would have taken the old man to walk from his bedroom to the front door. Another example, the time it took for the train to pass by the window. He analyzed many more evidence/statements to be sure that his decision was the one he wanted to stick with. Another strength juror number eight utilized was his patience. Unlike the other jurors, number eight was willing to discuss the case again, rather than just voting and returning to normalcy in life. For example, juror number seven states, "This better be fast. I got tickets to a ball game tonight." Another example is juror number three, "Yeah, let's get this over with. We've probably all got things to do." Here is an example of juror number eight's patience, "... I mean, we can't decide in five minutes. Supposing we're wrong?" "Let's take an hour. The ball game doesn't start till eight o'clock." His p

Appeal to emotion is another fallacy. " Also a fallacy of presumption is present when he is playing tic tac toe with juror number twelve in the begging of the movie. I heard a pretty good story last night. You know, living in a slum, his mother dead since he was nine. In the script he states that kids are deviant now a day. Logicalness; everything that was stated was connected to the case. He does this by his loud tone of voice and his aggression. This shows me that he hasn't put himself in anyone else's shoes so he can't see how they paint the picture of the case. and heard everything, or take the knife, what, just because he.
