             Facing a future career choice is an unavoidable process after graduation, especially for most full-time students who start their career history over. As a student who will get a master degree within half of year, I am also facing the dilemma of career choices. Whether I should take over my family business or be an nine-to-five employee in large organization. If I decide to work in organization, whether I go back to the Japanese company where I had worked for one year or not.
             In this paper, I will assess my personality and introduce some self-assessment exercises which influence my career plan and self-awareness. By analysis the self-assessments, I can understand my strengths and weaknesses, then find out a way to overcome my weaknesses. After evaluating my personality, I will apply the methods of self-goal setting (Mastering self-Leadership, P27) and the theories of occupational choice(Career management P 128-P 133) to establish my developmental plan.
             The first impact of my personality is my family business. My father established his own business when I was born. As the oldest daughter of my family, I was taught to be responsible and make my contributions to my family business. However, such responsibility that was impressed on me at an early age not only give me the advantage of being a leader but also become the major cause of the dilemma I met in my career planning. In terms of positive value, my responsibility character makes me become a trusting friend, group member and leader. On the other hand, this kind of personality usually makes me unhappy and generates another personality.
             I usually try too hard to satisfy every person's needs and concern other's feeling. However, although I try to make everyone happy, I always feel unhappy in the end.
