The Iroquois people were families of a community, where they lived under a very well organized society. In document one it will be talking about the set up of an Iroquois village. In document two it talks about the work Iroquois people did to survive. Document three decribes the tradition and details about a long house. Last, in document four it clearly talks about the decisions Iroquois leaders made, with the peoiple in mind. Iroquois indians cared and protected all of their people.
Everyone in the Iroquois village help eachother in unity in order to survive. Document two talks aobut the type of work being done by men, women, and children. They also helped eachother, and lived together in house-like buildings. I think family was important to the Iroquois people. The Iroquois people had a matrilineal society which means to trace ansistors throught the womans side. The Iroquois people protected eachother and lived with many other families in a longhouse. In making decions the Iroquois leaders were to consider the whole nation and the unborn future of the Iroquois. Children sort corn and carry water to different destinations. The people set up their community in a well organized way. Men build things like longhouses and hunt while women cook and sort food. The Iroquois village was set up to help and protect one another. Iroquois people were built around a village of unity. In longhouses related families live together while seperated by quarters. In considering the whole nation its shows Iroquois people werent selfish, but were concerned with everyones well being. The Iroquois nation were very important.
