The perfect career for me is that or pediatrics. I have plans on attending UTSA (University of Texas in San Antonio) for my undergrad degree program. I hope to attend UCLA for medical school. I feel strongly about my goal to become a doctor. And though my desired job was no listed on the 41 jobs I received in my Career Fitter results, I will do whatever I can to become a Doctor.
For as long as I can remember always wanted to be a doctor. When I was little and somebody got hurt I was the first one to run for the first aid kit and help however I could. My uncle worked as a paramedic and took me for a ride along when I was 16 years old. As we got a call he zoomed to the street he need to be at, and proceeded to perform CPR on a victim whom drowned in his own pool. After seeing the look of the man, and how grateful he was, that was the moment that solidified my choice in becoming a doctor.
Maybe it could be the simple excitement of knowing I have the power to help people follow the constitution, in where is says American have the right to "LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." And knowing that you devoted your life to helping others has a satisfying feeling surrounding the thought of becoming a doctor. I also know that this means another twelve years of school for myself, but in the long run it will be worth it for me, and that little girl who smiles back at me when I tell her and her parents that the surgery was a success and she has a chance at Life's Happiness.
